Stay This Way Forever

from by Tomachi

about

115 bpm C B and G mostly
Drums were fed through a Holden 100 amp, sampled, looped up with Recycle, then set to work creating a strange shifting chord progression. Once Andy had laid his bass everything started falling into place. With a smattering of minimal vocals from Josephine, and some fine acoustic guitar work by Nigel Gavin, who uses a Godin 11 string fretless, and a Laurrie Williams 7 string fretted.

lyrics

And I’m just...
I’m just...
I’m just...
I’m just sitting here in sun and I could stay this way forever
[dam who ha]

(chorus)
As I ride
I can’t deny
Stay this way forever
Stay this way

I’m just sitting
I’m just chillin'
I am being
..
And I’m just sitting here in sun and I could stay this way forever
[guitar solo]

(chorus)
As I ride
I can’t deny
Stay this way forever

(bass solo)
Stay...
Stay...
(laughing)
Stay this way forever
Wait hey probably clean.... Nah it’s too digital
